Request Data Deletion

You can remove much of your data directly within the app at any time, without deleting your account:

• Delete individual food entries from your daily log.
• Delete custom or saved foods you have created.
• Leave or delete parties you own or belong to.

Items you delete this way are removed from your account immediately.

To request deletion of your entire account and all of the personal data associated with it, follow these steps:

1. Send an email to support@macros.gg with the subject line "Delete my data".
2. Send the request from the email address associated with your account, or include your Discord username so we can verify your identity.
3. We will verify your request and confirm by email once your data has been deleted.

We process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it, including:

• Your account and profile information (Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address).
• Your logged food entries, custom and saved foods, body weight history, and nutrition goals.
• Your gameplay and usage data (XP, levels, ranks, streaks, quests, and party membership).
• Any photos or descriptions you submitted for food analysis.

We may retain a limited amount of data after a deletion request where we are legally required or permitted to do so:

• Transaction and billing records. Records of payments and subscriptions are retained as required by tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Payment card details are held by our payment processor (Stripe), not by us.
• Residual backups. Copies of data in routine encrypted backups are purged within 90 days of your account deletion.
• Records required by law. Information we must keep to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.

Retained data is limited to what is necessary for these purposes and is deleted once it is no longer required.
