Terms of Service

Macros.gg is a nutrition-tracking service: you can log meals, track macronutrients and calories, set goals, follow streaks and challenges, and use optional AI-assisted features. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is not medical advice. Consult a physician or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet.

You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must provide accurate information and may not use the Service in a way that violates the law or these Terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to disrupt it, or violate these Terms.

Macros.gg offers a free plan and a paid subscription ("Pro"). Depending on where you subscribe, billing is handled by one of the following:

• Web purchases are processed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the in-app billing portal.
• Mobile app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) as auto-renewable subscriptions, billed to your store account.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, per your selection) unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Store purchases can be managed and cancelled in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the paid period.

Free trials. Where offered, free trials are available once per account. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you are charged for the selected plan.

Refunds. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are subject to the refund policies of Apple or Google respectively; refund requests for those purchases must be made through the store. For web purchases, contact us at support@macros.gg.

Price changes. We may change subscription pricing with advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

You retain ownership of the content you log (meals, photos, weights, notes). You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service — for example, storing your entries and, where you use AI features, sending the content you submit to our AI provider for analysis. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your data is handled and how to delete it.

You may not misuse the Service — including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting or overloading our infrastructure, scraping the Service, reverse-engineering it, or using it to develop a competing dataset. Community features (leaderboards, parties, public profiles) must be used respectfully; we may remove content or restrict accounts that abuse them.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nutrition estimates — including AI-generated estimates — are approximations and may be inaccurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Macros.gg is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access to it for violations of these Terms, with notice where practicable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
